If you’re thinking more on the chocolate side there are plenty of chocolate filled and iced King Cakes out there. Some are bordering on the no longer being a King Cake territory but I’m sure taste just as good. If not better.

Hours: 11 – 4 this Friday for Valentine’s Day

Shop for a Mardi Gras costume and give a local costume designer a Valentine’s Gift. They work hard year round creating one-of-a-kind costumes and could use the purchase to help them continue creating.

The costume accessories in the photo above are in the $20 – $ 80 range. They have plenty of costume choices like these sparkly Mardi Gras colored horns below. Easy to throw on for an instant costume.

You can visit their location to find more costumes or purchase costuming supplies to make your own. But, time is getting short so it might be easier to invest in a pre-made costume. It’ll help put money back into New Orleans where I know these Costumers spend their hard earned money.
