Everybody have a scream, it's Halloween

Not to miss Halloween Decorated Homes in New Orleans

The essential must-see Halloween homes in New Orleans plus a new discovery for lagniappe.

Skeleton House NOLA

Skeleton House NOLA is the traditional Halloween gatherer of people to get a spooktacular giggle at the punny skeletons.
This year was the Taylor Swift edition ‘The scERAS Tour’ due to TSwift stopping in to New Orleans on her Eras tour. What a treat for New Orleans.
Open daily through Halloween.
It’s one of my annual traditions.

It’s on St. Charles with easy access via Streetcar. Or parking nearby. I’ve also seen tour buses stopping in front.

Ghost Manor

This has become a yearly tradition for many and it does put on a spectacular show. Ghouls and skeletons dancing in sync to different chosen songs every year. Along with a few repeats.

Limited days and hours for showtimes.
Past shows Thu – Sun (Oct 17-20),
Two night remain this weekend. Thu – Sun (24-27)
Final shows on Oct 30-31. 7pm-10pm

Plan on spending some time here due to a high volume of crowds and waiting to find a spot to see the action.

Kraken House

A majestic home of tentacles and 12 ft skeletons. Not much else left to say. It’s a beauty in person so try to make your way to the Lakeview neighborhood for this one.
And stick around to watch the tentacles change colors.

Lakefront Home

I stumbled upon this home driving from the Lakefront down Canal Blvd to visit the Kraken Home. It’s not a far drive between the two.
There’s so much to see it might take some time to take it all in. I hope it becomes a yearly tradition and a new contender for annual Halloween decor sightseeing.
